Your app sends Relay an event, such as invoice.paid. Relay stores it, works out which endpoints subscribed to it, and delivers it to each one as an HTTPS request. If an endpoint is down, Relay retries on a schedule for up to two days, so you don’t have to build a queue, a retry loop or a delivery log yourself.

Quickstart

Send your first event and receive it locally in five minutes.

Send events

Event types, payloads and subscriptions.

Webhook delivery

What counts as delivered, and how retries work.

Verify signatures

Check that a request really came from Relay.

What you get

  • At-least-once delivery. Every event reaches every subscribed endpoint, or ends up in your failed deliveries where you can replay it.
  • Signed requests. Each webhook carries a Relay-Signature header made with your endpoint’s secret.
  • One queue per endpoint. A slow endpoint never holds up the others.
  • A delivery log. Every attempt, its status code and its response time, in the dashboard and the CLI.
